This collection is a sheer joy to read. It is an honest portrayal of the emotions we all feel when connected to another person in mind, spirit and body, reflecting the sheer ecstasy of physical and emotional love.

A rich variety of imagery is used to portray the experience of love and sexual pleasure, yet in each poem, feelings of intimacy and delight shine through. That someone, somewhere, has been the inspiration for each poem is beautiful thought. Reading this book, it is hard to understand why such wonderful, human experience is so often shrouded in guilt, shame and denial. Wendy Maltz reminds us that our sexuality is something to be celebrated!

Highly recommended bedtime reading.
