5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, 30 Jun 2000
By A Customer
The book covers the full array of features that version 4 of this new software release boasts. I wanted to learn specifically about how flash handles and processes user-entered data and the action scripting capabilities. It is not written as a reference book and would probably be frustrating to use as a reference material - but there are plenty of other authors good for that. If you want a detailed introduction to-reinforce the flash on-line tutorials - get this book.

1.0 out of 5 stars Oh dear, 4 May 2000
By A Customer
I'm not going to knock this book entirely. It has a beautiful cover and layout. The problem comes when you try to gain the smallest amount of simple information, to be faced with a sentence of spiel. There aren't enough screen shots and few clear explanations. The basics are easy enough to pick up in flash, through the tutorials. The problems come when you have a specific problem. Forget it!
