5.0 out of 5 stars The only ASP book I have actually READ from cover to cover, 15 Mar 2000
By webmaster@deathzone.co.uk (Midlands, England) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Active Server Pages Unleashed (Paperback)
This book is the most useful, and frequently used book in my library of internet/intranet development books. Full of tips and tricks, some of which I hadn't come across before.

It is a good book for an introduction to setting up you own intranet/internet server (the installation of IIS/SQL), and an introduction to Jscript, html, VBscript, SQL queries etc. Even if you are already familiar with the ins and outs of script programming, this book is still worth a read, or just as a reference.

Most of all the quick reference appendix at the back of the book (all 160 pages), is the most useful one I have come across, covering Jscript, HTML, ASP, and VBscript.

Undoubtably the best overall referance guide, and introduction book I have come across
