4.0 out of 5 stars A real insight into Gedda's personality., 21 Dec 1999
By A Customer
Unlike many "star biographies", I feel that this one shows the reader something of the subject's personality. Originally based on interviews with his wife, the journalist Aino Sellermark Gedda, one really gets the impression that one has stumbled across a private conversation. This in no way excludes the reader, rather draws him in to this private world of a private person. Some people may have wished for more anecdotes dealing with his varied career and his many "star" colleagues. But for me the spirituality of the book shines through - a thoughtful read.
