Following the previous two classics Not So Nice Nurse and The Good for Nothing Girlfriend this pastiche finds the detective chums up to their co-ordinated outfits in enemy agents and evil doctors.
Mabel Maney has created a world where love is just around the corner and everyone has matching shoes and bags. The Hardly Boys join Nancy Clue to find the boys father (who's secret life is under threat) and foil the Russian agents. Although this book is more of the same humour it is still a great romp through gay fifties small town America a unique and thoroughly enjoyable romp.
