Having been through several miscarriages it was painful to see my experiences so accurately conveyed. But the author is right in saying that there is a point of reconciliation and for me that came from understanding the reason for my losses. After tests for immune system problems it appeared my immune system was fighting off each pregnancy. I also had blood clotting problems. Both these issues were treated and I gave birth to healthy twins. I recommend anyone going through the pain of infant loss to read Dr Alan Beer's book. It saved me from years more heartache.
