I thought this book was not as good as some Quantum Leap books, however was not the worst. Sam and Al argue throughout the book for no good reason, and at times the book moves slowly.The story about what was happening back at the project was okay, but the author didn't take it anywhere. Also the ending was very weak and the story went on for ages after Sam leapt for no apparent reason.

This book was very average, but if you love Quantum Leap you should have it in your collection.

I must say, I was deeply disappointed in this book. First of all, it starts out with all these petty little fights between Sam and Al. Sam is a crab throughout the entire novel. And Al's character was totally wrecked. It was swear after swear after swear. The plot was rather drawn out, and the only thing I really enjoyed about the book was the background on Donna Alessi and Sam Beckett. The author really got in touch with her feelings & thoughts about Sam and the project. But I wouldn't rush out and buy this one. Try "Foreknowledge" or "Angels Unaware" first.

It took me a while to get hold of this book and if been wanting to read it for ages. It was so good and i really got in to the story.
