First off, I should admit that it isn't really fair for me to be reviewing this deck: I can't read it myself, and I find the strict Rider-Waite symbolism rather intimidating. Bad stuff over.

On the plus side - this is the most beautiful deck I have ever seen;
anyone familiar with Rider-Waite symbolism will be able to read it straight away; it's influences are multi-cultural, with a bit of everything (from Ancient Egyptian art to Manga!), so there's a real eclectic feel to it; this deck has the twin positives of being, on the one hand, strictly traditional and sticking to Rider-Waite symbolism like velcro, and, on the other hand, having a thouroughly modern feel thanks to the many influences on the artist.

This is a must-have deck for lovers of beautiful tarot, and even though I couldn't read it myself I found it was a great present for a friend of mine, who was looking for an update to her Rider-Waite deck.
