DarkStar., 13 Jul 2000

Well I don't like these at all, the pictures are not very good, they don't appear to have any meaning whatsoever, I purchased them as I like to collect decks, especially dark decks, it is dark alright, but just not very good, I get no feeling from them at all, they do look like clipart stuck onto a background, afraid the only advise I can give for these is don't waste your cash on them.

This is a unique perspective to tarot., 29 May 1999
By A Customer
This is a unique perspective to tarot. The Crow's Magic, though in my opinion not as expressive as the Londa tarot, continues the artist's skill for each card to be its own work of art. I can envision the cards as door posters, some challenging any who step up to it. This deck is a bit more systematic in its expression, which is different from the previous, more expressive and intuitive Londa tarot. In this collection, Londa incorporates symbology, numerology, and pictology. Their incorporation is subtle, so unless the viewer understands the aspects in relation to the meaning of tarot, the true meaning of each card may be missed. I admit to experiencing this, so I suggest one look at the deeper meaning of each card before judging its surface value.

Different, but not for beginners., 23 Feb 2003
Choosing a pack to work with is a pretty subjective experience. I found this deck a stark contrast to Londa's other tarot pack, as it is quite dark in colour and the emphasis is more on symbols than visual tableaux. I would agree that the images make great poster art, however, some people may find it too challenging to use as a working deck. I think it may be better suited for tarot meditations as the potential is there, especially if the animal depictions and symbology call out to you. Highlights and brickbats besides, it is a different tarot but not one for beginners.
