4.0 out of 5 stars Give the book to someone you want to tell about your problem, 5 Sep 2001
I purchased the book and read the whole book in about two hours. It mostly already told me what I already knew about myself. It explained about other peoples problems, which I could relate to but most of all by the end of my reading I knew I was not on my own. Since reading the book, I told my girlfriend about my problem (which I would never have done without reading the book) and I can now pee in front of her. Now I just have to put it into practice in the male toilets. At least I have made the first step. It's now reality and not a dream peeing in front of another person. Overall, it's down to the individual what you really want to do. The way I told my girlfriend was to actually give her the book to read. Once she had read the book and found out I was not a freak, she decided to help me with my problem. So far, so good. If you have problems telling someone, just give them the book to read.

5.0 out of 5 stars In one word.... GREAT!!, 22 Dec 2003
By A Customer
Hey,

Thought id leave my pennys worth! Im 22 and have for as long as i can remember had this huge problem of not being able to pee at urinals in public toilets!

I got the book today and read 2/3rds and am so happy that the book was published. It has situations printed which are identical to mine. Going to try and use the self-help tips and advice. What life would be if only i could pee!

Thanks for the book, amazing!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book at a cheap price!, 20 Jun 2001
By A Customer
This book was ordered by myself a few weeks ago and I was engrossed in it for the week it took me to read it. There are numerous different chapters covering every aspect of this condition from the body mechanics of peeing and finding solutions to support groups and workshops. Also covered are the effect on people with shy bladder syndrome in relation to family, intimate partners, drug testing and bathroom design.

If you want to find out as much information for whatever reason about this condition, then this book is a MUST!
