Having been newly diagnosed with Fibromyalgia at the beginning of 2004, this book was recommended to me by my physiotherapist.

As I knew very little of this illness when I started reading, I found it extremely informative and easy to understand. I appreciated the humour of the author and the realistic approach in what to expect and how to deal with different aspects of Fibromyalgia.

A great source of knowledge that has not only helped me but has also enabled my family to understand the illness as well.

I found this book to be greatly helpful in educating me in what is fibromyalgia and how to get the help I need. My primary care physician saw I was reading it and asked what they recommended. I take it with me to all Dr. appts and have had no problem getting the help I need to live a productive life with the pain. It has also helped me to understand why things are the way they are, such as the carbohydrate bingeing. I highly recommend this book to anyone with fibromyalgia.
