Billy Bunny is looking for a butterfly. On each page he finds something else instead...a bee, a ladybird, a mole, a grasshopper, a frog, some birds... and finally some butterflies.

The book is beautifully drawn in a lifelike style, giving the pictures an old-fashioned feel. There is great attention to detail, with buttercups, primroses, daffodils and bluebells featured alongside the animals. The flaps have small pop-ups behind them showing the various creatures and the final page is one larger pop-up with all the animals encountered during the story.

The book is one to share as the flaps and pop-ups would not stand independent toddler reading! It is perfect for a child interested in animals or nature and it's style makes a nice change from the usual bright and bold books for young children.

A great addition to any toddler's collection.
