I buy this guide for work most years becuase I find it useful, but if you have the 2003 edition already I wouldn't bother with the 2004. Nearly everything in it is the same as the last year's edition word for word. I don't think they do the surveys anymore. I don't see why they bothered to change the cover to 2004 when it's just the 2003 reprinted.
The New York one is much better.

This brilliant book is the perfect resource for me and all my friends to find excellent spots for every occassion. Between the helpful indexes that categorise restaurants by location, cuisine and interesting features to the helpful contact and location information, this guide is my favorite tool for staying in "the know." I wouldn't dream of booking a reservation without consulting my Zagat.
