After being sent away by my doctor with the words 'it's probably just an irritable bladder' and no further help offered, I wasn't quite sure what to do next. My bladder has been ruling my life for a while now, but the doctor dismissed the problem and didn't offer any further suggestions as to how to get it back under control. Then I stumbled across this book. It's not easy to get ahold of, but it's brillinat if you can! It offers practical suggestions as to how to monitor your problem and how to bring it back under control without the use of strong medication that, in the long run, doesn't help anyway. The book offers a reasuring, positive look at the problems you may be having and then suggests a program to help overcome those problems. Having read it, I feel reasured that there is nothing major wrong, and that I can get my bladder back under control!
