5.0 out of 5 stars Squeemishly Superb!, 29 Aug 2003
This review is from: Eyes of Prey (Paperback)
Described as one of the most horrible villains since Hannibal, Michael Bekker is a truly evil force. He teams up with disfigured actor Druze and they decide to swap murders (might sounds confusing, but trust me Sandford does this with ease). This is one of the best of the Prey series (I have read 8 so far) and the idea of two people swapping murders is truly original. Lucas is his usual "cool" self and together with his partners Del and Sloan try to work out two seemingly separate murders. I couldn't put this Prey book down and finished it in one sitting. If you are squeemish at all (and the title of the book gives you a good idea of what happens to the victims) perhaps you should sit this one out. For the rest of you however, ENJOY.

1.0 out of 5 stars Must have read a different book....., 13 Sep 2004
This review is from: Eyes of Prey (Paperback)
I read this book and thought it was one the clumsiest, plodding thrillers I had ever read. I even passed it along to my brother just to double check my thoughts - and we both agreed that this was one of the worst thrillers we had ever read. I am great fan of this type of novel normally and couldn't believe that an author that had been recommended to me by other "fans" could make such hard work of a potentially good storyline. I still laugh now when I think of it.....
