This is a really thorough and clear guide to British Columbia. It's quite thick so if you are travelling very light then maybe it would be better to read before you go rather than take it with you. It covers every town and area of interest in British Columbia and is particularly in depth in the Vancouver and Victoria sections. Lots of extra useful information too. Well worth the money, and very interesting to read.

I have several books of the Pacific North west. This moon guide is excellent and comprehensive. Great in depth coverage of Vancouver and the surrounding areas. All things covered in depth. I like to travel independently and very much on the cheap. I would recommend this book over other similar publications.

I have found MOONS to be consistantly good. I've depended on my well thumbed copy each time I've been to Canada. In general the benefits over 'the competition'(!) tend to be a consistant approach, real familiarity with the territory, and an enthusiastic, and grounded approach. Heartily recommend!
