Reading the book is much like going through the advanced class
that PTC offers. The simple steps are defined in general, while the
more involved steps are defined in detail. This is a great
format that appeals to advanced users...The book follows the
same learning curve that a new user would follow...
The authors do a good job reviewing and explaining curve and
surface analysis, how to use the tools and why to use them...
Since there are many options with simplified representations, we were
pleased to find the text covered all of the uses...Like many
programs, Pro/ENGINEER offers numerous ways to perform the same function,
and Tips and Techniques is a solid publication on some of
the better practices.
