As a gambling writer myself (CASINO GAMBLING THE SMART WAY), I feel like I have pretty high standards about gambling writing. Most of the people who know how to gamble don't know how to write and most of the people who know how to write don't know how to gamble. Frank Scoblette is a very notable exception to this generalization.

I found VICTORY AT VIDEO POKER to be very well written and thought provoking. Just as importantly, Scoblette provides useful, accurate education in an easy-to-absorb fashion. The most technically accurate book in the world isn't helpful if the reader has to struggle to understand or apply it. VICTORY AT VIDEO POKER is a very useful tool for the video poker player.

Video poker is not like other casino games because you can actually get the edge in some games and Scoblete shows you how. The book is well written and fun to read. But you WILL learn what you need to know to beat video poker - and that's why you should get this book.
