Amazon.co.uk Review
According to numerous dictionaries, the paranormal is described as events that occur without scientific explanation. According to coauthors Charles Sellier and Joe Meier, the paranormal is described as events that are simply beyond the scope of science--such as ghosts, astrology, remote viewing, near death experiences, and UFOs. In this conversational sourcebook, the authors tackle these phenomena with gusto--bringing historical accounts, their own experiences, and lofty theories into play. Don't expect to find scientific "proof" about the existence of the paranormal. Do, however, expect to find some lively discussions about Edgar Cayce and Nostradamus as well as tales of crystal skulls and psychics who can sniff out criminals. There's even a delicious Hollywood section with titbits such as the fact that Mae West wrote scripts under the direction of a spirit guide. Believers will be enchanted, while sceptics will probably remain firmly unconvinced.
