A comment on the talk that became this audiotape
This was an extemporaneous lecture that I enjoyed giving as part of the University of California Extension's "Women's Lives" symposium, an annual day-long event in San Francisco. I told stories and used myths to describe the crone or wise-woman phase of our lives. The task (and the pleasure) is to be "a green & juicy crone", an authentic, creative woman, with wisdom that has been acquired through experience. This has been a pass-along and share audiotape, one that many women have thanked me for, and an introduction to what I have to say on the subject. I am now writing about Goddesses in Older Women, about the archetypes in women over fifty, which will be published by HarperCollins.
