An intresting little book, not really full of the tips I would have liked to have seen in it, but if you are a complete beginer and dont realy know what to sculpt, this book offers you some step by step characters to create.
Easy to follow and informative.
Would have liked to see more general tips that I could have used in my own designs, but still fun and full of great pics of the characters this artist has created.
If you are a complete beginer buy it, but if you have some experience in sculpting and modeling characters ect. you may want to skip this one.
overall a nice little book for people wanting to start polymer clay scupting, but not realy for the more creative and advanced.

This books written by a great polymer clay artist David Kracov, and shows a lot of techniques for making cartoon like characters. All parts of the figures are explained in detail (eyes, noses, ears, mouths, arms....) and when you master these techniques, you can surely go further on, on your own.

The author is clearly very talented. His work is very impressive.

Full colour throughout with clear photographs of various stages in the scuplting process of some 7 different characters.

At 64 pages however it really is too short. So much more detail could have been put in to make a really excellent start for any character modeller
