This is an extremely useful book for students, teachers and practictioners of comparative religious studies. The editor has arranged this book according to themes that are common to the various world religions, yet the content from each religious tradition can vary a lot. For those users, why carry a load of weighty books when just one will suffice? I can see this book being used for interfaith worship and discussion, for giving sermons, or just writing essays that require references from different religious texts.
