5.0 out of 5 stars A solid choice for the spiritual seeker., 19 Mar 2001
By A Customer
By many standards an excelent book; Morris is a fluid writer, and freely shares his past and thoughts with the reader. This book is an excelently written account of his own path to enlightenment, a synoptical guide on how to meditate and see auras and the like, and as good a place to start as any. A great choice for the not-so-experienced in the ninja and spirituality deal, like myself. I would advise this book to anyone with an open mind. A few things in the book tend to pull on one's grasp on relity (like being able to meditate your way into disappearing in front of a mirror, astral projections into peoples dreams, or vampiric energy-draining techniques employed by master ninja), but on the whole, this book gives an extensive look into the non-physical aspects of ninpo and martial arts in general, something that many people don't even know existed. If you are in doubt wether or not to buy this book, e-mail me at smok.m@usa.net, and i'll help you decide...

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow. The best book I've read in a long, long time., 16 Jul 1999
By A Customer
Glenn J Morris has the skill of writing from his own heart, directly to the heart of the reader. Strategy, humour, philosophy, psychology, education, mysticism, spirituality and so much more, this book has got everything. It even discusses different aspects of ninjutsu. When I read the title of this book I thought 'Oh, what a wank' and put it back on the shelf. But before I left the store I picked it up another 4 times before I finally went with my gut. So I bought it and it opened my eyes to so much more than just ninjutsu. It changed my perspective on life itself. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great book for the open minded questioner of reality., 17 Oct 1996
By A Customer

Glenn Morris manages to weave a great deal of humor and wisdom into a fascinating autobiographical account of his physical and spiritual enlightenment. I highly reccomend this book to any open minded person who is interested in the supernatural and internal aspects and possibilities of the martial arts.

For those that are not true seekers of the supernatural, this book is still very good. It reads well. Morris has an easy-going way of telling his story, his humor is not lost on anyone, and whether or not you believe him, he tells a story so out of phase with the popular notion of reality that you are sure to love it.
