This book is much like most lesbian sex guides that have gone before it. It includes chapters on all the obvious stuff, and contains lists of organisations. It does seem to lack humour though, which makes the book a bit dry (no pun intended!) but this makes for good straight forward advice. I'd say this is a god book if you are buying your first lesbian sex guide, but if you already own one or more then this book doesn't really say much more than has already been said before.

I had resisted buying this book for some time because I felt that I was well acquainted with the subject matter already. I was, however, suprised at how much I learned from the Lesbian Sex Book. Every appropriate topic is covered in a concise, succinct manner and the writing is exceptionally clear and direct. I have recommended this book to my Lesbian friends and they have found it as useful and informative as I have.

This was the first book I'd ever bought of this kind and I was a little disappointed. I found it to be a bit condescending. It mentioned things that most people would know anyway - even an absolute beginner like me. Because of the encyclopedia nature of the book, many topics were mentioned (some seeming to be quite irrelevant) but none of them in much detail. I wouldn't advise getting this book. I have since bought the 'On Our Backs' guide which I thought was much more informative, and much easier to read.
