Why I wrote this book.
I wrote this book for business managers, technology users, and planners who like myself are interested in achieving competitive business advantage by capitalizing on the adoption of and migration to new technologies. I've long been interested in using complementary technologies to save money, shorten cycle time, and achieve competitive advan- tage. I enjoyed writing about my specific experiences adopting and migrating to two new technologies in light of theories of technology adoption and migration. I wrote the book to learn and share what I learned with others. I hope that readers enjoy the book and learn something new from it.
