Product Description

Synopsis

Hamm (criminology, Indiana State U.) offers his account of the April 1995 bombing of the federal building in Oklahoma City. He also argues that the excessive force of the federal government during the sieges in Waco, Texas and Ruby Ridge, Idaho, followed by the its refusal to admit errors in judgement, fed the suspicion and hatred of the government

1.0 out of 5 stars This book is government disinformation., 6 Dec 1997
By A Customer
The language used by the government to isolate the victims of Ruby Ridge and Waco are again employed in the OKC bombing event. The author (Hamm) merely repeats the government's pre-fabricated statements for public consumption regarding this tragedy. The author would like you to focus on the right wing when you should be focusing on the government. The government was wrong at Ruby Ridge. It was wrong at Waco, and it was wrong at the OKC bombing. Ask yourself why the government keeps destroying the crime scenes involved without allowing others to conduct independent investigations. Waco was bulldozed while still warm. You must see the 1997 video "WACO: The Rules of Engagement". The federal building was razed, buried, fenced in and guarded before America even awoke from the shock of the tragedy. Why are the victims' families now suing the federal government? Why have witnesses been encouraged by the FBI to change their testimony? Why were no ATF agents killed in the explosion? A much better book to read on this tragedy and one that is much closer to the truth is "Deathtrap: Oklahoma City" by J.D. Cash and Chuck Harder. Will Mr. Hamm apologize to Terry Nichols when he is acquitted?
