Looked for weeks for a playhouse to build for my daughter. The book was easy to follow for a beginner. Excellent ideas and drawings. Only wished my own house looked that nice. The Stiles know how to put out a great book. I have since bought another great Stiles book.

Despite so nice cover there are no photographs in the book (what I expected and needed most for inspiration). If you are serious about DIY you cannot find much new on how to build playhouses. If you were not serious then you would not dare to do it anyway (apart from few simplest projects). Although, to be fare, most of the projects shows that you can make kids very happy without spending much money and time and some of the houses can be built by anyone (e.g. cardboard playhouse). The drawings are really nice and instructions detailed (up to the point: “screw the leg screw all the way until you see that the washer is beginning to depress the wood”).
