This review is from: Dark Water (Mass Market Paperback)
A real disappointment, I'm afraid. The most basic of stories (including a very predictable love angle)and absolutely no colour in the writing combined to make this a pretty miserable read for me. If you're looking for an enjoyable whodunnit, I suggest you look further afield as there is little in this novel to challenge or inspire. If the book is representative of Sala's work, I'll be steering clear of her in the future.
