2.0 out of 5 stars Poor, 3 Nov 2003
By Mr. Peter Hayes (London, UK) - See all my reviews

I'm a big fan of the Pendragon series however this book so has been the worst. It lacked imagination and a poor plot.

While we are able to find out a bit more information about the role of Travellers, their history and the people who help them, this doesn't help liven up an otherwise dull plot.

The books content didn't justify its length and by the end I was truly fed up of it. As a fan of the Pendragon series I would recommend this book, as a fan of literature I would recommend you stay clear and buy the previous books if you haven't already done so.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Must, 28 Feb 2004
I read this book a while back, and loved it like all the other Pendragon books. Even if never read a pendragon book before this book is a MUST!!!
Showing the dangers of fanstasy and what they can do a world really makes this book brill.
And with the worlds best cliffhanger,I'm deffently buying the next one.
I seriously reccomend the whole Pendragon series.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is where Pendragon heats up!!!, 23 July 2009

This is where for me D J Machale hits his stride. I adore this book and even though I haven't read it for over 5 years I still remember it well. Aja Killijan and the dying world of Veelox. Lifelight to me is what could very well happen to our own world someday if computers and technology become too dominant. In the way it has happened already with the internet with people living out fantasy lives. Yes and the twist at the end. Knocks you for six. A gripping, addictive read.

Um, what to say? The Reality Bug's a reasonable read, but nothing really that special. Basically, this Pendragon dude goes off on a random quest to save this race that lives in a... Read more
