Heartless is the latest Long Tall Texan story from Diana Palmer. I am a massive fan and collector of all her works, but after the last few books I was starting to despair.... the heroine's were becoming a bit too hard to relate to, abused or neglected as children. The hero's, who seemed like wonderful men in previous books turn out to be just as damaged as the heroine's and treat them mean and cruelly.
Heartless is back to her best from years ago.... the main characters are believeable, secondary characters (Kilraven and Jon Blackhawk) are brought back from previous books.... maybe more books to come???? Overall a great read, and I'll be pre booking her next hardback as soon as I can....

I have bought my last Diana palmer book. She is now writing like barbara cartland.This book I read in 3 hours flat,and the whole book was flat--A waste of my money.What happened to the gritty stories she once wrote? This book was like a M&B Desire but about 4 times the price. I am a very disappointed ex-fan.
