5.0 out of 5 stars Dawn, 10 Sep 2002
By A Customer
Dawn is a compelling book. It is easy to relate to and understand. The book is well written and you end up feeling as though you know the characters inside out. There are a lot of twists and turns in this book and its great for a reader who likes mystery and adventures. Dawn is followed by, Secrets of the morning, twilights child, midnight whispers and the prequel darkest hour.
This is a book you read over and over and never have enough of it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Hack job with dead author's name, 9 May 2006
I was an enormous fan of Virginia Andrews and still love the books she actually wrote (Dollanganger series, My Sweet Audrina and most of the Casteel series). And then someone had the strange idea of using her name to write more books in her 'style'. Unfortunately, the 'carefully selectd writer' lost her voice, even when lifting text directly from her previous books (as the Cutler series does on a a number of occassions), and simply produced a tacky caricature of a Virginia Andrews book. And they have continued in this vein ever since, making money from a dead woman's name.

Don't bother. Go read Flowers in the Attic instead.

5.0 out of 5 stars 5 Stars all round, 25 Mar 2004
By Sam Hamblin (Berkshire United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dawn (Cutler Family) (Paperback)
I have recently finished reading Dawn and found it excellant. I felt as though I was there watching Dawn's life unfold. There are enough twists and turns to make you keep turning the pages. I have also read the Hudson series and this is especially good, I reccomend this to people who liked the Cutler series.
