4.0 out of 5 stars Stuart Woods Mounts A Good One, 30 July 2009
This review is from: Mounting Fears (Hardcover)
This book follows some traditional lines for a political thriller-reelection politics and intrigue, foreign crises and espionage and adds colorful characters, some sexual encounters and enchanting locations (e.g. Cumberland Island) to the mix. The author's love of airplanes and jets shows through with some interesting insights. The action is fast-paced and mainly unravels through dialogue, at which Woods excels. As Will Lee attempts to get reelected, numerous threats from multiple angles jeopardize his standing and future. The Griffon Trilogy: Pt. I

5.0 out of 5 stars Another good book!, 21 April 2009
By Amanda (Diss, Norfolk United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Mounting Fears (Hardcover)
I enjoyed reading the book. Fast paced & cleverly integrated characters from other book series which I like. It did have a bit of a weak ending though which is surprising. I felt there could've been another couple of chapters!!
