There are many strange monsters which eat people and roam the lost desert (the place where most of the story is set). The illustrations are very detailed and help you imagine what the charactors and settings look like. I really like this book and would recomment it as a read for most humans!! He falls down a huge scary toilet and he starts a war about paying half a penny in tax! You never know what is coming next and there are lots of jokes. My favourite person is Raymond who is chopped up and lives in lots of different bags but he is still a good fighter.
