This is a very colourful and clear book. My babies (now 13 months old) love this book and particularly like it when I read the sound words, e.g. "Maisy likes driving her fire-engine, nee-nah, nee-nah". They also wave bye-bye to the animals on the bus. It is also in durable cardboard which even they haven't managed to devour yet.

This is a basic board book with 10 pages of text. All pages start 'Maisy Likes' and then the type of transport she uses. Each transport page also has the noise the vehicle makes like "chug chug" or "vroom vroom". My children loved the reader making all these funny sound effects. It is an excellent book for teaching very young children transport names.

The illustrations as ever are excellent - colourful, clear and bright and include her friends Charlie, Cyril, Tallulah, Little Black Cat and Edddie.

I bought this book for my 1year old. She loves listening to the story, and is not in a hurry to turn to the next page! The repetitive language has a rythm she enjoys and the pictures are very appealing. A great book to capture the interest of very young children!
