5.0 out of 5 stars An out of this world experience, 13 Dec 1999
This review is from: The Wormholers (Hardcover)
An excellent story to teach that you cannot judge people by their appearance. Sophie, suffering from cerebral palsy and unable to communicate verbally, is treated as if she is stupid. However, when given a computer, she shows everyone her genius. With Chad she goes wormholing and explores a parallel universe. My 8th graders were captivated. The descriptive vocabulary is fantastic.
