Trinidad & Tobago is the southernmost country of the Caribbean chain and offers some of the world’s best diving. Over recent years dive holidays have greatly increased in popularity in the twin island state, which boasts a large number of exciting dive locations with ideal conditions and clear waters. Tobago is particularly blessed in this regard.

This comprehensive Macmillan Caribbean Dive Guide, illustrated with over 170 underwater colour photographs, contains a wealth of both practical and technical information for the experienced and beginner alike. Each of the dive descriptions gives a depth range, an indication as to grade (beginner, intermediate and advanced), as well as an invaluable GPS location. For each dive, there are tips on what to look out for – including a detailed marine life identification guide. Names and addresses of the dive centres are listed at the back of the book.



About the Author

Solomon Baksh is a PADI Master Instructor with over 8000 logged dives and was recently awarded Platinum Pro 5000 status from SSI (Scuba Schools International). He is an Advanced Diver Medic Technician certified by the National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Society, USA and is also an Associate Member of the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society. His underwater photography began many years ago using the Nikonos system but is now done exclusively using the Fuji S2 Pro digital SLR camera housed by Ikelite. His vivid photography has been honoured by being placed on marine postage stamps issued in 2003 and 2005 by the Trinidad and Tobago postal service, TT Post.
