5.0 out of 5 stars A MUST BUY FOR A BUDGET TRAVELLER to EUROPE, 29 Nov 2001
I didn't travel all around europe last summer, but in each city I visited I thanked god I had this book with me. Let's go is written by a surprisingly high quality budget travellers. That is you get to know the good value for money places in your visist. I found accomodation the most useful in italy. The book in each country focuses on the "not to miss" cities and towns. In each city first there is some orientation data, and then the accomodation vartying from campsites, hostels and some good quality hotels. The arrangement of the sight seeing is good. There are high uptodate information but you need to reconsider the priorites that are set up in the book. I found some of the "must sees" must not sees. But all in all it's a good book and you will sure save more than the 10 quid or so that you paid in it. By the way I found "Complete Idiot's Guide to Europe-Paperback - 8 June, 1998" a very useful book when it comes to planning your day, there are some magnificent tips in that book, although the prices are completely out of date.
