Somehat disappointed with this book. It covers the whole range of Garmin handheld GPS thus for the majority of readers there is masses of content which is not applicable. The general explanations covering how GPS works are helpful. Perhaps the publication requires some updating with refinement of content to the latest versions of GPS handhelds.

far too complicated.i needed simple direct user friendly. this is not, waste of money for me
