Being a absolute ropetart personally I had to see what this book was about and managed to get a copy. The bondage is easy to follow and good for new and experienced alike. The words flow and tell it like you would want to be taught, straight talking and clear, lastly the pictures are stunning and clearly show what the bondage achieves as well as how to get to the end point safely and easily

If your partner even hints at bondage then get this book and read it, a fantastic way to introduce someone into the delights of bondage written by the expert herself.

A book to bring rope bondage up to date and spice up peoples sex!

Never having experimented with bondage we have been looking for something to add to our sex lives, and Chanta Rose hit the spot with this one.

It seems that most bondage and rope work books are aimed at those who want nothing but rope, bondage and submission, which have left us feeling there was little room for sex and loving. I know that the being bound implies submission, but I would draw the analogy between a tight embrace being a deeply moving and tactile experience compared to a wrestler's grip which is distinctly oppressive and dominant.

Chanta Rose has produced an easy book that aims to give you the choice of where the balance is, between rope and sex. Yes, you can have both, it does not need to be one or the other. Contradictory though it maybe, but the sensual and sensitive manner the author has approached the book makes the whole subject loving and most erotic. The style of the text and photographs, in particular, are such that it does not turn off or threaten the novice but invites exploration and makes it easy to take it slowly together.

If you want hardcore, hogtied BDSM, this one is not for you. But if you and your partner want to experiment and learn together and have a little fun along the way I cannot recommend this book too highly.

Possibly the only frustration is the title, where or when is Volume 2?

The three reviewers before me all seem to have like this book, so perhaps this is just me who feels this way. The positions that have been chosen are all very nice and not too advanced for a beginner. And the models used are all very pretty or handsome. They don't look like freaks, nor are they ridiculously endowed.
However, when learning bondage, one thing that needs very careful explanation is how to tie the knots. I'm a beginner and pretty good with rope but the way the explanations are written in this book are truly frustrating and inadequate. The terminology is uncommon and there are too few illustrations.
If you want something easy to understand and fun to read, go for Two Knotty Boys.
