In "Funky to Fabulous," Eli Davidson begins with her own inspirational story, of going from the depths of nowhere, to living a successful, vibrant life, using the Turnaround Techniques she has developed over the years. There are also stories of how others have changed the course of their lives with Davidson's training and ideas, which are now with this book available to all who wish to upgrade their circumstances, and transform their thinking. "Funky to Fabulous" is written with humor and much enthusiasm, and a gusto for life lived at its fullest, fearless and with gratitude.

It's a mind/body trip to You-Ville, and it's a neighborhood well worth exploring. Doing something new, something you have never done before, is one of Ms. Davidson's steps to breakthrough, and her "Big Money Miracle" on pages 55-56 is a winner. Davidson deals with the Fright Factor, in a terrific chapter on fear ("The lizard in your head"), "Perfectionitis," "The Cycle of Overeating," and many more subjects that plague both men and women in today's society.

There's a lot of truth in "Funky to Fabulous," and it's also a lot of fun. Ms. Davidson has a knack for word puns and treating serious subjects in a way that amuses and makes "self-help" an adventure. The book also has a good layout, and easy-on-the-eyes print size, adding to the enjoyment of learning Ms. Davidson's Success Strategies. Onward and upward!
