For content it get 3 stars. The mnemonics are not perfect, you will find better ones that the writer has. For originality it get 5 stars. I'm going to give it 5 stars for the originality outstrips the poor mnemonics given (and 50%+ of them are not poor).

It will go well with "The memory book" by Harry Lorayne. Unlike Lorayne and books by Michael Gruneberg it gives a "mnemonograph" - a picture to go with the mnemonic. Ultimately you need to get good at doing this yourself, and guides like this merely provide practice material. Mnemonic ability is not unlike a muscle. The more you practice the better you will get in the same way you use a muscle the stronger it will get. This is a cheap investment to get started with. There is also a "200 word a day" program that lists 1000s of mnemonics - you can buy this on ebay, but getting that will not remove the fact that you need to be learning how to do this yourself at some point.
