This is the best and only book to learn the Hiragana syllable set, bar none. Each page includes a pronunciation key, stroke order diagram, vocabulary words with helpful mnemonics as well of a cast of charming characters: jimi, akiko and robotto-san. Yes, you need to practice, but there is no other Japanese book this effective and entertaining at the same time. Buy this book! You won't be disappointed.
