If you have not got the book by Hess, The Best Of Time Rolex, then this is a great book, no doubt. But if you have the other book that was published first (Hess writes the forward in this book) Then you will see page upon page of the same stuff copied, he even thanks Hess for permission to publish some of it.
However, If you forget that and look at this book on its own, Its a nice book, shame that all the pictures are Black & white, when you look at the cost of the book, thats not good. The section on how to spot fakes is though very good. I am tron between 2 or 3 out of 5, but when I think of the stuff that is copied, I can only give it 2.

A good book, alot of dosh for a paperback with black and white pictures. A little bit outdated.
The pictures though are good and clear. The sections on case numbers is good, The history is abit of hit and miss.
The sections on how to spot fakes is alright. I would recommend if you want abook on Rolex and lots of detail.
Only 3 out of 5, This cost me half a ton. Not alot of book for that kind of dough.
