3.0 out of 5 stars Good design overview of managing 2003 Terminal Server, 23 Jan 2005
Good for an overview of things to consider when designing a Windows 2003 Terminal Server(s) environment.

Does not cover Windows 2000 Terminal Server or 3rd Party software in any depth.

Does not provide you with indepth detail on technically supporting a Terminal Server.

4.0 out of 5 stars excellent, 17 Jan 2005
By A Customer
I've brought book from Brian Madden before so know roughly what to expect. This is another excellent book from this author. He knows his subject and explains it well. A good book for beginners but may not be that so beneficial to advanced terminal server administrators.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb book for 'system architects', 9 Nov 2004
By Christopher Saul - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Aimed squarely at those designing Windows Terminal Services solutions, as opposed to those administering them on a day to day bases, Madden's book covers everything in a concise, clear and enjoyable style. As someone with a Solaris/Linux background responsible for designing and implementing large Windows Terminal Services solutions that use either Sun's Sun Ray thin clients, or other options, this book provides excellent guidance. I've also bought the Microsoft Terminal Services book for detailed reference and a few nice screenshots, but this book really covers everything for the 'architect'.

5.0 out of 5 stars I didn't know that!
I have worked with Windows Terminal Services albeit with Citrix sitting on the top in an admin role for a number of years so felt fairly comfortable with the product. Read more
