5.0 out of 5 stars Grab two circular needles and start knitting!, 13 Sep 2005
By R. Coleman (BIDEFORD, Devon United Kingdom) - See all my reviews

If you want to knit socks but cannot cope with sets of double pointed needles - I was always letting them fall out of the knitting or losing them under the settee - then this is the book for you.
Circular needles, especially Addi Turbo, are absolutely wonderful to knit with. You may think that you need several lengths of the same size needle but this is not so and the method Cat shows in this book is incredibly simple, much easier to do than to explain. Buy the book and start knitting socks. You will soon become addicted but this is not a problem. Hand knitted socks make wonderful presents and there are some fantastic multi-coloured yarns available now.

I love this book it is so inspiring and demonstrates easily how to turn out socks without the bother of all those pins! It is easy to follow and entertaining with step by step instructions to guide you on your way to making beautiful socks.

4.0 out of 5 stars I'm Converted!, 27 Jul 2008
By J. Houlton (West Sussex, England) - See all my reviews

Having persevered with mastering socks using four double-pointed needles it has been an absolute joy to learn the technique given here. I take on board the fact that this new technique isn't rocket science, but since when did something have to be complicated before we used it?! I have only used one of the actual patterns given here but the method transferes to any other sock pattern. My only proviso would be to use the very best d-p needles, anything less and you will find it frustrating when sliding the stitches along at the start of each row.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't bother...
The method takes up about one page, and whilst interesting isn't mind blowing. The rest are variations on sock patterns. Read more
