5.0 out of 5 stars Greek "myth" as it was meant to be understood, 1 Feb 2005
By A Customer
THE PARTHENON CODE is astounding in its simplicity. But so was the ancient artists' code which proclaimed to everyday Greeks who they were, where they came from, and what they believed. As the author points out, every religion celebrates something. He proves beyond a reasonable doubt that Greek art in general, and the Parthenon sculptures in particular, celebrated the rebirth of the serpent-friendly Eve (Athena) after the Flood, the rejuvenation of the way of Kain, and the defeat of Noah's Yahweh-believing children. THE PARTHENON CODE is very well-written, and comprehensive enough to convince even the most skeptical critics. I'd give it ten stars if I could.
