This is *the* most phenomenal book on fighting that I have encountered.

Arguably, it's primary focus is on the Brazilian style of ju-jitsu ground-fighting; however, it is also a book on how to survive a fight.

Everything is broken down into useful detail. Quite literally it is done in a "If... then..." style. If from this position he he moves his hand left, do this, if he moves his hand right, do that, if he grabs you here, do this, if he moves there, do that."

There are literally thousands of photographs all ordered clearly and well.

I cannot recommend this book enough.

Absolute quality. I've bought and looked at various instructionals but this is by far the best. Don't be put off by its publication date, the stuff in here is what you see in today's mixed martial arts.
