Superb child friendly with important issues, 22 April 2001

This is a truly remarkable book about Angie having difficulty sleeping because of the fear of monsters in the dark. The story is powerful because it teaches children that they deal with their own fears in their own way. All children can relate to this feeling and it has important lessons to them. The text is rhyming and is significant to learning literacy skills. It is easy to read and full of life.
