5.0 out of 5 stars Backcountry Adventures: Arizona, 14 Aug 2005
By A Customer
What a mine of information! Not only does this 570 page book give you a 'blow by blow' account of the journey with maps and directions but also provides background history of the places and people along the way. We travel from the UK in a stock 4X4 Wheel Drive and level 2 or 3 (difficulty) is just right for our ability and nerve. Get off the highway slab and into the backcountry and take this guide (or at least a photocopy of each trip as the book weighs a ton) with you. A really enjoyable, useful book that I would highly recommend to novices and the more experienced alike.
