A great book to inspire you to take another look at your health from a different angle. Not for the fainthearted but if you are serious about detoxification then this is the book to get you going. It relies on herbal remedies which can be purchased from many different sources other than the authors. Richard Anderson is definitely enthusiastic about his subject and has studied it for years, he may be a little over the top by the end of the book but he clearly believes in his work. The cleanses themselves will restore your body's natural processes and unleash your inner beauty and ability to heal yourself. Transformational on all levels.

If you are suffering from a desiease and want to help yourself combat the toxisity of your prescription medication or you are looking to balance your life/spirit/body or just have an intrest in how your body works / reacts to your food and lifestyl this is the book for you. There are some interesting pictures and disscussions on mecoidal plaque, how to shift it and what it looks like when it comes out. I read this whilst doing the internal cleans suggested and I can say I have never felt better.

This book is also a revelation on Americas approch (or denial is more apporpriate) to alternative healing. It is quite technical in parts and has a lot of foot notes, but is still easy to read / follow. I have limited biology / anatomy knowledge but it was ok to understand.

It does mention God and spritual awarness, espically towards the end, but that shouldn't put you off as it is amazing reading, even if you think you have a quite healthy lifestyle, you will probably be reviewing your lifestyle by the end of the book.
